XIMB MUN 2017 EVENT DETAILS

XIMB MUN 2017 would be conducted on November 10th and 11th 2017 (Day 1 and Day 2 of Xpressions 2017 at XIMB)

Participants can register individually or in team of 2

Kindly register with your Name, Name of Institution, Contact Number, Email address for communication and previous MUN/debating experience.

This event is open for Post Graduate students, Under Graduate students, and school students in 11th and 12th standard only.

There would be two committees and an International Press Corps. The committees are :

The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
-
The United Nations Futuristic Continuous Crisis Committee (FCCC)

While registering, you have to indicate your choice among the following:

Delegate (If applying for the UNHRC or FCCC)

International Press Corps

As an International Press Corps member, you can choose to be among the following:

Journalist
-
Photographer
-

There are only 47 vacancies for the UNHRC, 60 vacancies for FCCC and 15 vacancies for the International Press.

The registration fee for delegates and Parliamentary members is Rs 800 for individual 1200 for a team of 2 and for International Press members is Rs 600 only. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for the delegates.
As a Delegate, you have to state your preference for the country as well.The list of the countries (country matrix) can be downloaded below.
Please note that your preference does not ensure that you will be allotted a committee/country of your choice. The allotment of your committee/country will be based on your previous MUN/debating experience and as per the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
